Isolations create Nostalgia..
After a long, long time Im putting pen to paper with an article which would be a journal of my early days.. That was the time when every one of our cousins, brothers, sisters were in adolescence.. My cousins were in the time of their high school academics.. We were pretty young that time and that time there were plenty of opportunities which enabled us meet up and freak out for a brief period of time.. As Im proud to assert that we guys were a big gang and every time we met up it was real fun..
The time when dad, dad's elder & younger brothers were together as a joint family and we still cherish the memories of that time, as by chance or choice we cannot make it to that kind of intimacy.. Though ppl talk about privacy these days and joint families are not the present, I enjoyed the values of the joint families with instances like fighting with my brothers, watching movies as a gang of 10-15 ppl, enjoying vacations with our cousins, cauvery bath, fabulous lunch, unconditional and invaluable love from our grand parents, the fun, the laughter, the togetherness etc..
Since isolations are a part of life, I understand and appreciate the realistic situations.. What stops us from looking back at those values? Though we are all professionals and have responsibilities nowadays and running in the rat race for money, I sincerely feel that those values are not to be forgotten or forsaken.. Though we send emails some times to our relatives, how many of us are really sincere in making contact? Which stops us from doing so? Money? Time? Responsibilities? If one utters so, I would counter saying that they are mere reasons..
I am really blunt in putting this forth, have been trying to make contact with many of my bosom relationships, but unfortunately many failed to materialize into contact.. It does not take anything to initiate a conversation, nowadays there are hundreds of free media thru which we can get back the touch.. Im really proud to say that I have at least 1 friend who has been in touch with me right from the age of 3 yrs or 4 yrs..
I don’t write these articles just for fun.. Though I have failed on umpteen occasions, I will continue to do so, I don’t want to overlook these nostalgic values at any point.. Hope this has some positive effect..
