Stubborn Stove
My schedule off late has gone for a big trip because of a simple issue.. Since I have moved and currently staying alone, I have to run the show alone, which includes cleaning house (mopping), vessels, cutting vegetables, cooking and of course eating.. Such a curse.. Since these are recurring tasks and doing them every day seems boring and monotonous.. Slowly got acclimatized to the requirements I was getting organized day by day.. Was really happy that I was able to accomplish everything in a day and was getting up by early morning (6:00 AM) every day.. Unexpectedly all my schedules got disrupted due to a small problem..
I have a electric hot plate burner at home which has 3 plates with different sizes and heating capacities.. Since I didn't want to blow lot of money on furnishings, I had bought it from a second hand shop and seemed to work fine for some time.. Suddenly I had a strange problem with that one which started heating automatically even before switching on.. Once I hooked this one to the power point, it started heating automatically.. The regulator was no more working in one plate and was running in full heat every time.. The other two plates were still fine.. But this started heating once I plugged in to the power socket.. Still managing to work with this, whenever I wanted to cook I plugged the cable and was using the same as is..
Then I wanted to check out what was occurring inside that and decided to open that stuff and tried to look what was inside? Lot of dust, and ash… I thought these things are common since it was an old equipment.. But I was noticing the regulators and testing the power at different junctions.. It was okay and when I assembled it back, and switched on the power, it was regrettably not functioning.. None of the plates is functioning right now even the grill is gone..
So sharing dinner with other colleagues and reaching home late in the night sleeping late and getting up really late.. Back to square one.. Today I reached office by 11 AM..
