Swiss Bliss

For the first time I stepped into the land of mountains & lakes.. Switzerland.. It was a delightful experience.. I got to see wonderful mountain ranges and lakes when I was traveling across swiss in beautiful trains.. I was awestruck by the way the tracks and rail lines which have been laid on the mountains.. Trains are running in almost 45 degrees on the uneven tracks.. The travel was damn smooth and comfortable.. This was a short trip on a weekend, so I could not cover all the major highlights of swiss.. I had visited a few cities and stunned to watch out on the natural aspects which attract the tourists round the globe.

I had covered two cities of historic importance and a city of beauty.. Luzern, Interlaken and Geneva were the places covered this time, but the next time, which is a certainty, I would like to spend more time.. I desparately needed some time there to watch out on the three famous mountain spots Mt Titlis, Mt Pilatus & Jungfrau..

I apparently enjoyed every moment last weekend, and if at all any of you are planning for a vacation this side, I strongly advocate a trip to swiss.. Only thing its not economical, had to shell out lot of money, but I guess its worth it..

Shall upload some fotos tomorrow for a sneak peek preview..

Get! Set! Go!

After sustaining for a while here, I have decided to wander in the YO YO places of Europe.. Just gotta a good offer to visit my dream place swiss.. And sep first week preparing to go to WIEN.. Of course there will be blogs on these trips, Im really excited to step into those countries.. I had been going through internet for some offers, the moment my colleague told me about these deals, I was all excited to make this a reality..

Here things happen in the internet and when I recollect the past, booking tickets has always been a pain standing in the queue, paying change, having petty fights with the person who issues the ticket, lamenting about the inefficiency of the government departments and expressing displeasure all the way till the process gets complete..

Here situation is quite different in the sense that sitting at home, we can work wonders.. Of course every where it's the same now, internet has contributed to the comforts of thousands of lazy morons like me.. In the process I caught up with a fantastic deal to every one's dream place... SWITZERLAND..

Gotta good trade with stay too.. More updates will follow.. But the current idea is cover BASEL, BERN, GENEVA, LUZERN in SWISS..

For sure will upload a few fotografs and some information on those..

First Day, First Show..

Deepavali.. What a great festival it is for all of us who are soaked with traditions? Its again a personal experience I had during my early days of my academics.. It was our high school time and we were in Srirangam, the temple city.. Every deepavali was so much fun.. We enjoyed firing crackers, having a gala time with our cousins, got blessings from uncles and aunts and that time many of our relatives were living in and around tiruchirapalli.. One of my uncles Mr Vaidhyanathan, who is known for his comic attitude and his taste for food, used to take all of us out for some good restaurants and famous spots where we used to spend some invaluable time..

He used to get lot of tickets from the local cinema halls and the time when Rajni and Kamal were producing blockbusters for every deepavali.. I remember clearly, when thalapathi and guna hit the screens, we were living there and as usual he got sizeable number of tickets.. The tickets were distributed between us and there were at least 10 of us who were a part of this first day screening.. And senior members of the gang were responsible for taking us to the hall and to bring us back safely.. We enjoyed the first screening of the movies amidst lot of noise, chaos, and petty fights between the fans..

I remember we had watched movies for 3 or 4 deepavali's and also had enjoyed watching many other movies with cousins.. That time all of us had ample time to spend together.. Nowadays we are damn busy running behind money, we dont have time to really arrange for a get together like that.. Everyone have their own schedule and travel plans and the distance increased as time passed by.. But still Im recollecting most of the stuff and dumping them here, so that it gives me & my readers a feel of that time we all enjoyed..

Kai Vantha Kalai

Many of us like K Bhagyaraj movies, only for his exciting screenplay talent.. One of his popular disciples, Mr Pandiarajan who also treated us with his first magical venture AANPAAVAM in the 1980’s has spent some time on taking a movie of that sort, means taking the same movie with his son…

I thought he also possessed the fine touch of screenplay which is a Bhagyaraj Trade Mark and many a time this was proved by guys like Parthibhan, Livingston… Though these guys don’t have a presentable personality, sometimes their on screen effort is admirable.. On the same lines pandiarajan has also produced some miraculous movies like Paati Sollai Thattathe, Katha Nayakan, Aan Paavam, Gopala Gopala.. And I always apprehended that all pandiarajan movies are of the “Entertainment Guaranteed” kind and I was proven horribly wrong in this movie..

Here ppl canvass for dvds and I had taken the dvd for watching after believing the words of the shop keeper, that it was a continuation of the movie aan paavam, which in my adolosence I had really enjoyed watching.. I hope u would all agree and as asserted earlier that pandiarajan himself has a personality which cannot be tolerated but for his screenplay.. But this time it’s a gross mess up..

Pandiarajan’s son looks like his father, but PR himself is lackluster and has nothing to offer.. He has messed up the characters of the earlier movie, and changed the relationships, screwed the screen play.. But I sincerely appreciate one of his efforts in this movie, the fact that the cast didn’t change by a huge margin.. Most of the ppl are disastrously idle and he has been able to network with them and get them together..

May be the workers of the movie can consider this as a get together after 25 yrs at the same spots where he shot the movie Aan Paavam..But in this case Producer Paavam & Audience Atha Vida PAAVAM…

Not even one shot is bearable.. Even if u get a free vcd or dvd, I suggest u avoid or else u wont sleep..
